The purpose of this blog is to explore and reflect on the growing intersection(s) of digital media innovation and the lives of (predominantly) nonhuman animals – although by nature this always also necessitates a consideration of the behaviour of human animals too. My posts will often arise from my research into nonhuman animal ethics, but I aim to make the content on this site accessible and of interest to a wider audience than only the academics who read my journal articles. Please feel free to subscribe, comment, and/or get in touch with any feedback or further ideas about how the digital age is impacting (positively or negatively) on our fellow species…

If you’d like to know more about me, you can find out more on YouTube, Twitter, Academia, About.Me, LinkedIn, and my Textures of a Textual World website.

Tiffany Brown (a.k.a. @virtualtiff) is the official author of the blog, although as she recently told me, she has much better things to do with her time.
